Hi guys, schooooool is starting up, so all of us have been pretty busy. Sorry, and we're doing our best to post more soon.
So, I've noticed that people always do this awesome multi colored calligraphy, but it's always with water brush pens. If you don't know, water brush pens are brush pens with water instead of ink, so you can dip the tip into whatever color you want. I find water brush pens annoying, because the brush tends to be too long, and not enough water comes out sometimes. Anyway, this method is super easy, and you can do it on the go!
Please note that the tips of your pens may or may not become stained after you use this method. With the brush pens I bought, the color of the ink did not change after i used this method, but I can't guarantee anything if you're using another type of brush pens. Email me if you would like advice!
Materials:
Some cheap brush pens(I bought these)
A plastic/smooth surface that the ink WILL NOT dry on (Ex: clear packing tape)
Paper
Procedure: (haha that's what i write in my science notebook)
Chose out some colors you think will look nice mixed together, and it's nice to choose some light and dark colors! (You can test by drawing overlapping lines on a scratch paper)
Choose a quote/word to write (Or make your own! Be creative)
Find the lightest color out of the bunch you picked. Take the rest of these colors and use them to draw stripes of ink on the smooth surface. These stripes don't need to intentionally overlap, they will bleed together themselves.
Take your lightest color and run the brush across these stripes. making sure it gets some of each color.
Do your calligraphy!
It may take a few tries to get this right, but it's not too hard. The picture above was only my 2nd try, so don't worry, it's not as hard as it looks. Also, if you're confused by the instructions in this post(or any other post), you can email me for step by step pictures on how to do this!
