haha lol I know this image sucks but its ok.. there are only a few mints because i ate them all
Okay, so I bet a lot of people have looked for a mint recipe with no gum paste. And the truth is - there are none. So I tried to make some mints out of common household ingredients, and it worked. These mints are not really like the kind you buy in the store. They are more soft and powdery. I will do my best to find a solution to this, but I think you can try adding maple syrup or a little oil. Or maybe you can use hot water to melt the sugar... I dunno.... But I will probably update this to find a soulution.
Materials:
Mint flavoring
Cornstarch
Powdered sugar
Water :)
A straw
Natural food coloring (optional)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Procedure:
Mix cornstarch and powdered sugar into a bowl.
Add mint flavoring and taste powered mixture until you reach your desired flavor.
Slowly add water until the powder becomes a dough.
Flatten the dough on a piece of parchment paper.
Start cutting out mints with the straw.
Enjoy!
Please note that this recipe is MY OWN. I created it myself, and did not copy this from any other website.
